How do you collect information and what do you collect?


If you sign up to the newsletter or become a member, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, establishment name and email address. When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.  As direct payments are processed through Wix Stores or Paypal, we do not have access to your payment details.  We may also collect and store any other information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated below only. 


When you browse our site, we may also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about how users are accessing the site. We also use software tools such as Google Analytics and YouTube Studio to measure and collect session information, including page response times, search terms used to find the site, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, time and country originating from, type of device used, methods used to browse away from the page and video viewing information on YouTube.  We only collect anonymous data using Google Analytics and YouTube.  To find out more about how Google uses your data, see their privacy policy here.  You can opt out of supplying any data to Google by using this add-on to your browser.

If you supply your e-mail address, we take this as consent to send you emails about new content and updates to the site.  As part of purchasing a product through our website, we also take this as consent for us to contact you from time to time via e-mail to provide support, request feedback or notify you of new products.  We will not contact you by any other means.  This consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us directly.


Why do you collect personal information?

We collect the above information to be able to contact you via e-mail with messages relating to the website content, promotions and to respond to enquiries.  This will also allow us to monitor use of the products and help inform developing and releasing new content.  The information collected may also be used to create aggregated statistical data, which we may use to provide and improve our services.

When purchasing products, we collect contact information so we are able to contact you about your order if necessary, process your payment and issue invoices or refunds where required.

How do you store, use, share and disclose your site visitors' personal information?


Our website is hosted on the platform. provides us with the online platform that allows us to communicate our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through’s data storage, databases and the general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  This includes purchases made on our website which are processed by Wix Stores.  All direct payment gateways offered by and used by our website adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.  Payments processed by PayPal are covered under their own privacy policy.

The responses to surveys are collected through POWr who operate the survey app through Wix.  Therefore all information provided to us through the survey will be stored on POWr's data storage.  You may wish to read POWr's privacy policy for more information regarding how this data is stored and used.


No data will be passed on to third parties, except in the unlikely event we are required to by law.

David Whitney and Delphi Philosophy are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).  Photographs and videos of children were collected with specific consent from parents/carers and are stored securely with the other website data on storage system.  These should not be captured or replicated in any way.  If any parents/carers have any questions about use of these images or wish to change their consent, please contact us.
