Delphi in the snow

Merry Christmas from Delphi Philosophy!

This is just a quick note to thank everybody who has supported Delphi this year, whether you've downloaded the resources, explored the children's site or just spread the word about us. It's been a very exciting year getting up and running - it's hard to believe it was less than a year ago when we first released Delphi the Philosopher, and that we managed to put together Delphi's Guide to Athens this year too!

We have loads more planned for next year - there will be the last in our series of lesson blogs, more video content, additional guidance on teaching philosophy and brand new enquiries! We'd also love to hear from you about how your adventures with Delphi have been going so far.

Whatever you're up to, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

See you in the new year,

Dave and Rosie.

Child's perfect bedroom

Hi everybody,

The next lesson blog is now available. Apologies it's taken a little bit longer to prepare this time - it's just been a very busy couple of weeks!

I'm particularly proud of this one. It was a real breakthrough moment for the children in terms of their ability to discuss complex philosophical ideas. More than ever before, you can see the impact that Delphi Philosophy has on developing children's learning and thinking skills.

Child's perfect bedroom

Hi everybody,

We have a special treat for you in the next in our series of lesson blogs! You can now watch a video of the entire story of The Perfect Bedroom, being read to a class of Year 3 children! This is a great way to hear your first Delphi story and see what all the fuss is about. You could even watch it with the children and join in with the big questions and activities!

There's also the full lesson blog, where you can see what kind of perfect bedrooms the children come up with (and how many unicorns they can include), and see some incredible examples of abstract reasoning that come out of the enquiry.
